Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. Under ultraviolet light, there is fine intermittent retouching that corresponds to stretcher bar marks as follows: the center horizontal stretcher to the left and right of the figure and the vertical stretcher bar mark located 17- 31 in. from the top and 2 1/2 in. from the left. There is a small linear restoration in the purple figure located 15-16 in. from the left and 33 - 34 in. from the top. There is also a small cluster of restoration in the background, located 15 1/2 - 16 in. from the right and 29 - 29 1/2 in. up from the bottom. There is a small spot of retouching located 2 1/2 in. from the top and 13 3/4 in. from the left. At the top pull margin there is intermittent retouching along the top. This work is framed in a silver faced wood strip frame.
