Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is scattered unobtrusive spot pitting evident primarily in the black lettering. There are scattered nicks and abrasions to the metal surfaces. The black plastic areas also exhibit scattered small chips. The plastic inlays of the hyphen after "fermaments" and the hyphen after "town" are slightly dislodged from the metal casing.

Catalogue Note
Perhaps I asked too large —
I take — no less than skies —
For Earths, grow thick as
Berries, in my native town —
My Basket holds — just — Firmaments —
Those — dangle easy — on my arm,
But smaller bundles — Cram.
(Emily Dickinson, "Perhaps I asked too Large," Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson, 1995, London, no. 352)
