Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The figure exhibits scattered fine abrasions with resulant paint losses most notably at the upper left thigh and right knee. There are scattered scuffs to the chair.

"Creating one of these works is like doing a collage [...] It's all color, form and balance. I work at these things. I don't worry about whether or not the figure is going to look real. It's how the parts relate.  I'm seeking the effect of a unified visual statement.  All the details have to fit together.
