Catalogue Note
The present work is a presentation model for the realised large-scale project Saw, Sawing, commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and installed at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Big Sight, in Ariake, Tokyo, in 1996. The concept was first realized in the cardboard 'Study for a Sculpture in the Form of a Saw, Cutting', produced in 1973.
