Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There are faint stretcher bar impressions at the extreme lateral edges. There is also evidence of light wear and handling to the edges as well as very fine craquelure located at the pull margins. There is a diagonal 2 ½ inch surface irregularity to the paint surface at the upper left corner which appears to be the result of removal of an object from the surface while the paint was still wet. There are also two fine crescent shaped lines, appearing to be graphite measuring approximately 3 inches, at the extreme right edge in the central white field of color, visible in the catalogue illustration. Under ultra violet light inspection, there is no evidence of inpainting. Framed. Please note this work is signed and dated 59 in addition to being signed, titled and dated '59 on the reverse.
