Condition
This work is in good overall condition. There are minute spot paint losses and wear around the edges. There is evidence of scattered paint losses in the brighter areas of the figure's blouse and visible in the catalogue illustration. Ultra violet light inspection reveals scattered areas of inpainting which include the following: there is a 1 ¼ inch area of restoration located along the top edge extending from the left corner; there is a 1/8 inch area of inpainting located above the figure's left eye; there is a 1/8 area of inpainting located 2 ½ inches from the left edge and 4 ¾ inches from the top edge; there is a 1/8 inch area of restoration on the figure's neck; there are four scattered spots of inpainting located on the figure's left collar, the largest of which measures ¼ inch. Framed.
