Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. The canvas is slightly slack. There are two spots of paint loss to the bottom left hand corner edge and one to the top right hand corner edge. The minute darker pigment spots scattered in a few places to the yellow paint are original to the work's execution. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a small patch of retouching to the bottom right of the lowercase letter 'd'.
