Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is softer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the rich surface texture and the glittered thread apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some light wear to all four corner tips. The canvas is very slightly slack in the upper right quadrant. Upon close inspection there are a few minute isolated pigment specks throughout, which appear to be original to the work's execution. There are two tiny puncture holes to the left of the roof and two further puncture holes, one to the center of the lower right quadrant and the other towards the lower part of the right extreme edge, all of which are inherent to the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
