Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant, with the light blue background tending more towards soft turquoise green in the opriginal. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the reflective sparkle of the sequins and beads apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear at all four corner tips, with a tiny hairline crack in the upper right corner and several minute specks of paint loss in the lower left corner. There is a faint rub mark to the centre of the extreme right edge, and one to the bottom edge, 10 cm. in from the lower right corner. There are four minute purple lines beneath the front left leg of the table. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
