Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer, with the white of the dress tending more towards ivory in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. A few surface dust fibres are visible inside the acrylic frame. There is a minute pinprick-sized black media speck towards the top of the figure's left arm. There are two extremely faint and unobtrusive short rub marks; one 10 cm. to the left of the figure's head, and one 10cm. to the left of the centre of the banister. There are four tiny spots of artist's retouching in the top left hand quadrant, visible only upon very close inspection.
