Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly softer, with more pronounced flesh tones to the face and neck in the original.
Condition: This work is in good condition. There are several scuff marks to the surface, the majority to the right hand vertical section of the composition, most notably to the right of the figure's neck. There is a short intermittent rub mark to the bottom of the right extreme edge, three tiny rub marks to the lower left corner, and a further faint short horizontal rub mark to the lower centre of the right extreme edge. Two tiny rub marks are visible in the top right hand corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
