The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three-dimensionality of the original work.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There is a light layer of dust superficially adhering to the surface in places notably around the wire element. There is some light intermittent wear along all four extreme edges and a small media loss to the lower right corner tip. Upon close inspection a few fine rub marks are visible to the lower left edge, right of the centre of the lower edge, and to the left of the top of the wire construction. Inherent to the artist's choice of media, there are a number of consolidated fine cracks to the plaster relief. Some of these have resulted in associated small losses most noticeably four losses in the lower left quadrant, and a further loss in the upper left quadrant. Some associated restoration has been carried out to the affected areas, visible both under natural light and examination under ultra-violet light.
