Condition
This work appears in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling around the edges. There are four light 1 inch spots of discoloration located in the upper right portion of the red canvas. There are two incised linear vertical lines beneath the paint layer which are located 23 inches from the left edge and in the red canvas and which are visible only under raking light, fluorescing brightly under ultra violet light. There is a faint 2 inch area of fine and stable impact craquelure located 20 inches from the left edge and 21 inches from the bottom edge. Under ultraviolet light inspection, a few accretions fluoresce brightly but there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
