Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. This work has recently benefitted from topical treatment by Cramer Art Conservation. The white border of the sheet has grayed somewhat due to the transfer of the charcoal from the composition. The irregularities observable along the bottom edge are inherent to the paper support and the circular paper loss located 8 inches from the left edge is consistent with the artist's working method. There is a cleft in the paper along the left edge, approximately 2 5/8 inches from the bottom edge which appears to have been lightly scorched. There are artist pinholes observable in the upper corners and the lower edge of the sheet is deckled. Framed under Plexiglas in a wood frame.
