Description

  • Approximately: Framed: 98cm. high, 82cm. wide; 3ft. 2in., 2ft. 8in.; Textile Visible: 81cm., 64cm.; 2ft. 8in., 2ft. 1in.
worked in polychrome wool and silk, in tent stitch, depicting an elaborate urn of exuberant flowers on a ledge within shaped banded surround, on a brown ground, with later inset floral corners, all within a moulded stained walnut frame with gilt slip

Condition

Frame not glazed. Overall good condition. Faded generally. Some wear and old repairs, for example see light colours. each corner with later inset patch, differing to work of main panel.
