Description

  • Rectangular format: Both Approximately: 48cm. by 30cm.; 1ft. 7in., 1ft. 11in.
woven with flowers, fruit and scrolling acanthus, on a brown ground, each with modern blue velvet backing, and applied with black fringe and gold braid; one panel comprised of joined fragments (Qty 2)

Condition

Some wear and some areas of repair. One cushion with join across width of tapestry. Brown ground with some warp threads showing, commensurate with dye colour and age. Otherwise stable condition.
