Description

  • Rectangular format: Approximately 58cm. by 33cm.; 1ft. 11in., 1ft. 1in.; and 53cm. by 32cm.; 1ft. 9in., 1ft.
woven with sections of swags of exuberant fruit and vegetables, and sections of border detailing, such as scallop shapes, on almond coloured ground, each with light terracotta coloured raw silk backing and applied with gold braid and golden tasselled fringe (Qty 2)

Condition

Faded colours. Some minor repairs. Some warp threads showing, particularly in areas of brown weave, which is commensurate condition with areas with this age of colour of dye. Otherwise good overall condition.
