Description
- 128cm. high, 165.5cm. wide, 20cm. deep; 4ft. 2¼in., 5ft. 5¼in., 8in.
of breakfront outline, the frieze ornamented with griffins flanking an urn flanked by scrolling foliage
Condition
There has been some patching to the shelf particularly on the left hand side and on the left hand side of the right hand projection. There are some reapplied and replaced elements to the limewood carving on the frieze on either side of the griffins. There are characteristic minor losses to carving throughout. The gadroon and leaf-carving on the bottom of the inner side of the right hand jamb has been replaced.
