Condition

Pile generally good dense 1/8th of an inch with minor oxidation and foldwear low to knotheads particularly in upper right quadrant. Small scattered spot stains. A 1 by 1 inch reweave in upper border. Original purple silk selvages with some later overcasting. Ends secured with blanket stitch. Slightly stiff handle, will break under pressure. Soft lustrous wool, unusual light color palette.
