Condition

Pile very closely sheered with areas of foldwear low to knotheads. A 2in. repaired slit near center with several other small repairs along central axis showing warps. Scattered spot stains. Original sides with remnants of purple silk selvages, minor fraying, recommend securing. Lower end with original flatweave, cable end finishes and warp fringes with fraying 2in. into lower left guard stripe. Fringes also stained. Upper end with remnants of cable end finishes and fraying warp fringes. Recommend securing. Very supple handle, soft overall color palette, will enhance with cleaning. Sound fabric and condition.
