Condition
Pile generally very closely sheared 1/10 inch overall; rewoven area in upper right lion, approximately 5 by 4 inches, partially (approx. 1/2 inch) rewoven end guard borders---very well executed.
Sides later overcast with red wool, ends secured with binding stitch then trimmed warp fringes; thus sides and ends stabilized.
Cotton warps, very dense, robust weave.
Good overall condition.
