Description

Condition

Pile generally very good, near original approximately 1/2 inch in most areas. Dark browns completely oxidized away to foundation creating a nice bas-relief effect. Some scattered foldwear and a few scattered moth damage areas showing warps and wefts. A few scattered small holes in oxidized areas. Some scattered surface dirt and spot stains. Upper end with original flatwoven finish with some losses and fraying. Lower end with partial outer guard stripe and fraying in areas. Sides original with losses and fraying to selvages. Very good pile, good color palette, very supple handle, very honest piece. Will enhance with light cleaning and restoration.
