Condition

Pile ranges from closely sheared 1/10 inch with areas of wear low to knotheads; foldwear spots low to knotheads and foundation---some repiled; dark browns oxidized to knotheads. Upper end with moth damage in borders, now with small, scattered repiled and rewoven areas; quite well executed. Original two cord polychrome wool selvages. Partial original 1/4 inch flatwoven end finished with remnants of polychrome tied on fringes. Supple handle, sound fabric; very dusty---will enhance with cleaning.
