Condition
Pile generally evenly low to knotheads with dark browns oxidized to foundation and scattered areas of foldwear also low to foundation. Scattered areas of repiling to lowest areas. Small reweaves to ends and sides with largest being approximately 2 x 1 inch in upper left corner. A 1 inch slit in upper left of field. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt.
Sides partially overcast with losses to selvages and minorly into outer dark brown guard stripe.
Upper end lacking approximately 2 to 6 rows of knots, and fraying in areas---recommend securing.
Lower end with rewoven end guard stripes and end finish.
Flexible handle, sound fabric and condition; will enhance with cleaning.
