Condition

Pile is generally good, near original, approximately 1/6th of an inch throughout with some minor foldwear areas where pile is low to knotheads. Very minor 1/2cm. by 1/2cm. moth damage spot in upper right corner. Scattered spot stains and some visible warp ties. Ends with original flatwoven finishes and remnants of knotted fringes. Flatwoven finish with intact barber-pole stitching with upper end fraying in areas. Sides original with some later overcasting, not extensive. Lustrous wool, very good overall condition, flexible handle.
