Pile generally low to knotheads throughout with a few areas with approximately 1/10th of an inch pile. Some scattered repiling and kashmir repiling and some faded old overtinting in a few scattered areas. Oxidized dark browns and olive greens. Scattered foldwear throughout. Some minor scattered moth damage, not extensive. Visible spot foundation in areas of foldwear and oxidation. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt, recommend cleaning. Partial end guard borders with some fraying and further losses, now losely secured with blanket stitch. Sides overcast and fraying ina reas. Flexible handle, sound overall condition. Good early design.
