Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/10th of an inch to low to knotheads with a few scattered areas of pile high up to 1/8th of an inch. Scattered foldwear. Small 1 inch by 1 inch reweave into left side guard border. Small repaired hole in about center of field. Scattered spot stains. Upper end with original flatwoven finish, now secured with mixed technique finish. Lower end secured with blanket stitch. Sides with some minor overcasting, fraying and abrasions. Supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition.
