Condition

Pile generally good, near original 1/8th of an inch throughout with minor scattered areas of moth damage low to knotheads and foundation. The largest area of moth damage 1.5 inch by 1 inch in lower right corner and nearby a 1/2 inch hole showing warps and wefts also from moth damage and a similar hole in right border. Dark browns oxidized to 1/10th of an inch and knotheads. Sides with original three-cords of two warps wrapped in ivory cotton now fraying and with small losses; recommend securing. Ends with a 1/2 inch ivory kilim and macrame warp fringes with small losses to upper ends and more losses to fringes at lower end. Flexible handle, lustrous wool, good vibrant saturated colors. Sound fabric and condition.
