Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads throughout. Scattered repiling and some reweves, mostly in field. Largest repiled area is approximately 15 inches by 15 inches in lower left ivory spandrel. Further smaller repiled areas to other colors. Some small rewoven areas. Border and field abrashed, mostly visible in matter red and dark blue sections. Abash particularly strong in areas of lower sixth of carpet. Scattered foldwear. Scattered spot stains. Surface dirt; recommend cleaning. Missing side guard stripes, now reselveged with minor losses and breaks. Missing end guard stripes and parts of guard borer, now secured with blanket stitch. Some small repaired slits into end guard borders. Sound fabric and condition.
