Condition
Pile ranges from near original 1/5th of an inch in borders with areas of moth damage and wear low to foundation, generally in the upper 1/3rd of carpet. A 1in. by 1in. repaired hole near center. Repiled moth damage in outer open surround. Dark browns oxidized to knotheads and foundation, will enhance with careful repiling. Original selvages with minor fraying and some later overcasting. Ends with original cable end finishes and trimmed warp fringes with losses and now uneven. Very flexible handle, sound fabric, honest unrestored condition.
