Description

Condition

Pile near original approximately 1/10th of an inch throughout. Pile very slightly higher in border. Scattered water damage, most at upper and lower end border detectable by discoloration and small slits due to fragile fabric. The largest slit is in lower end border approximately 3 inches in length. Discoloration will improve with cleaning. Some minor color runs in water damaged areas, particularly at lower end. Small 1 in. by 1/2 in. piece missing in upper left corner. Visible warp dyes, losses and abrasions to selvages. Remnants of original upper end finish. Original flatwoven lower end finish with warp fringes partially intact, now partially discolored due to color runs in lower end border. Sides and ends with leather srips sewn on reverse. Very attractive color palette, inovative design, in good condition with the exception of the scattered areas of water damage.
