Condition

Pile good near original dense 1/8in. throughout. Some soft tope browns oxidized to knot heads - not extensive. Half of lower end guard border rewoven, very well executed. Remnants of original selvages with some later overcasting. Flexible handle, dense weave, very lustrous wool, deep saturated color.
