Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads throughout. Oxidized browns. One 0.5in. by 0.5in. reweave in right border, and one 1in. by 2in. reweave in central medallion. Further minor rewoven spots - not extensive. Scattered repiled areas, most to red field. 1in. by 1in. circular hardened grey stain in right border with small, 0.5in. slit - recommend cleaning and securing. Restitched outer guard stripes at ends, lower ends with cloth tube sewn on reverse. Right side with missing selvage - recommend securing. Left side with some original selvage and some reselvaging and overcasting. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, lovely yellow border, will enhance with cleaning and some restoration.
