Condition
Bag, circa 1900, 2'2" x 1'10": cotton whites, red kilim back, original ties; holes in kilim back, soumac face intact, scattered surface dirt and a few small (1/4 inch) moth holes along sides; remnants of polychrome wool side overcasting, fraying; good overall condition.
Bagface, 2'1" x 2'2": circa 1900; cotton ivories; some abrasions to surface exposing warps in small spots, mostly through center; kilim ends; original red wool overcasting with some fraying; surface dirt; good condition.
Bagface, 1'11" x 1'11", circa 1890; all wool soumac on cotton warps; some surface abrasions and oxidation to browns resulting in some visible warps; one corner missing 5 inches each side and end outer guard borders and small losses into dark blue major border; sides with no selvages and small losses into ivory guard border; ends with remnants of outer barber pole guard stripe and losses into ivory guard border; surface dirt; good color.
Bagface, 1'5" x 1'8", c. 1890; possibly fragment from a mafrash side; incomplete on both sides with later brown wool selvages; slits at color changes with some very clumsily repaired; minor warp spots showing; small holes in one end, probably due to moth damage; surface dirty; all wool; good color.
