Pile is generally low to knotheads throughout field, and approximately 1/8 of an inch in borders. Upper end and lower end borders rewoven. Some further smaller reweaves in field, with the largest being approximately 8 inches by 4 inches in right side of field. Scattered foldwear, some repiled. Further repiling to field, and the largest continously repiled area being approximately 4 inches by 3 inches. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Some discolored areas in lower left section of field. Ends rewoven. Sides reselvaged with two cord wool selvaging. Very attractive overscale field design on wheat-colored field. Will enhance with cleaning, otherwise restored and ready for use.
