Condition
Scattered rewoven areas throughout. Generally well executed and to reinforce original fabric. The most extensive reweave is at one end where part of the border and the rectangular compartment enclosing the shaped area with two griffons is rewoven. The other end border partialy rewoven. Otherwise, the other largest reweave is approximately 20 inches by 4 inches at the other end. Fabric backed. Some visible scattered sewing at color changes. Sound fabric and condition. Elegant fusion of late Louis XVI and Directore elements.
