Condition

Pile ranges from 1/8 of an inch to low to knotheads in areas of wear and oxidation. Oxidation mostly in olive-taupe browns in field with some exposed foundation. Some minor scattered tinting. Scattered repiling, with the largest repiled area being approximately 8 inches by 10 inches in field. Scattered repaired moth damage, with tinting and Kashmir repiling. One approximately 1 inch rewoven strip across carpet near center, where it has been cut to reduce length and re-joined. Partially overcast sides. Missing end outer guard stripes. Ends now secured with chain stitch. Rewoven lower left corner, not extensive, and approximately 2 inches by 2 inches in size. Similar reweave in lower right border. Supple handle. Surface dirt recommend cleaning, sound fabric and condition, otherwise restored and ready for use.
