Condition
Qashqa'i bagface: pile generally near original 1/8 inch overall, some vertical foldwear low to knotheads; partial end guard border and losses into ivory major border, fraying; sides later overcast; supple handle, lustrous wool.
Afshar bagface, 2'5" x 1'7": pile generally low to knotheads overall, 8 inch area of vertical foldwear low to foundation and with 2 inch hole of warp strings; losses into guard borders with later selvage on one side; other side with uneven losses up to major border; supple handle, lustrous wool.
Afshar bagface, 2'1" x 1'10": pile generally good closely sheared 1/10 inch with some areas of wear low to knotheads on one end; sides later overcast; upper end missing two guard borders and fraying into barberpole guard stripe; lower end with losses to outermost guard stripes; supple handle and lustrous wool.
Kurdish, 2' x 2': pile generally low to knotheads; partial upper end yellow outer border; lower end missing outermost brown guard stripe, some original goats hair dark brown selvages with fraying and later overcasting in red wool; supple handle, sound fabric, single-wefted.
