  • approximately 8ft. 1in. by 7ft. 11in. (2.46 by 2.41m.)

Condition

Pile ranges from closely sheared 1/10 of an inch with areas of oxidization and scattered areas of wear low to knotheads, but generally pile throughout. Very minor warps visible in oxidized areas. A 7 inch by 4 inch reweave in central flowering vase. A larger approximately 1 foot by 6 inch reweave in upper right corner. A 2 inch by 2 inch reweave in upper left edge of carpet and a few minor scattered smaller reweaves. A 5 inch by 2 inch reweave in left center border. Repaired foldwear slits in borders. Scattered repiling to oxidized areas. Light blues in borders running slightly into ivory. Remnants of original two cord ivory selvage with most of left ivory selvage redone, and half of right selvages redone. Missing end guard stripes with ends secured by a later selvage. Spot stains scattered throughout, should enhance with a careful cleaning. Sewn to a linen backing. Flexible handle, respectable condition for age.
