Pile is generally good, closely sheared approximately 1/10 of an inch throughout. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt, only visible in ivory field. Three small vertical slits in lower right section of field, two repaired. Very small 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch reweave in upper right and left corners. Losses and abrasion to selvages, particularly in left side, recommend securing. Ends slightly fraying, now secured with blanket stitch. Good overall condition, sound fabric, attractive ivory field.
