Condition

Pile is generally low to knotheads throughout. Oxidized dark browns. Scattered rewoven areas, the largest being approximately 5 feet by 6 inches along right edge. Further much smaller reweaves throughout. Scattered repiling, mostly visible in red center medallion. Some scattered repiled moth damage, mostly in borders. Minor tinting to red center medallion. Some minor scattered spot stains. Sides reselvaged with some alter overcasting. Missing end guard stripes. Ends secured with cloth tape sewn on reverse. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, very graphic field design, very attractive archaic border design on cream-ivory ground.
