Condition

Made from one continuous panel. Pile is near original, closely sheared to knotheads overall. A few visible scattered warp ties and scattered spot stains. Back with flatwoven end folded under and sewn. Front with flatwoven finish and warp fringes folded under and sewn under printed cotton lining. Sides on front with original polychrome selvages. At neckline, overcast with cotton band. Partially overcast and some fraying to selvages at openings for arms. Dense weave, good overall condition, highly unusual piece, will enhance with cleaning.
