Pile ranges from approximately 1/8 of an inch, mostly in corners, to low to knotheads. Small, approximately 2 inch by 2 inch rewoven area in central square field. Visible scattered warp ties and very few scattered restitched holes, not extensive. Scattered spot stains. One very small light blue stain in left side near medallion. Sides overcast. Ends secured with chain stitching. Glue reside stains on reverse, quite minor. Possibly missing sides and ends. Hand in central medallion may have been altered, as indicated in stitching along outlines. Supple handle, lustrous wool, unusual design.
