  • approximately 14ft. by 5ft. 10in. (4.27 by 1.78m.)

Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/8 of an inch to low to knotheads. Some partially oxidized browns. Scattered foldwear. Scattered moth damage, some repiled. The largest repiled area is 1 inch by 1 inch in upper end guard border. Scattered reweaves, the largest being approximately 3 inches by 3 inches in upper left corner. Upper left corner with some glue residue on reverse in a 2 inch by 2 inch area. Further smaller scattered reweaves, not extensive. Original striped kilim end finishes. Sides with losses and abrasions to selvages with some later overcasting. Selvage detached from side in an approximately 6 inch area on left side. Supple handle, lustrous wool, sound fabric and condition, will enhance with restoration to selvages.
