Pile ranges from near original approximately 1/6 of an inch to low to knotheads. Partially oxidized dark browns. Some scattered minor foldwear. Some small areas of moth damage, with the largest being approximately 1 inch by 1/2 inch right to upper lobe of central medallion. Some further scattered minor moth damage. Some scattered repiling to red field, distinguishable by slightly rosier color. One 1 inch by 6 inch reweave in lower end guard border. Two approximately 1 inch by 1 inch further reweaves nearby in guard border. Some minor losses and very minor later overcasting to selvages. Ends missing outer guard stripes, now secured with chain stitch. Supple handle, good pile, vibrant colors.
