Condition

Pile is generally good, closely sheared, near original, 1/8 of an inch overall, with some scattered areas of slightly lower pile. One 1/2 inch slit in upper right corner of field. One 1 inch slit in lower right corner of carpet; recommend securing. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt; recommend cleaning. Possibly missing side and end guard stripes with upper end guard border also missing a few rows of knots, now secured with binding stitch. Sides reselvaged with two-cord ivory wool selvages. Good overall condition, flexible handle, will enhance with cleaning.
