signed "Hereke" in one corner, metal thread outer guard stripes, silk ground guard borders and highlights, metal thread calligraphy
Condition
Pile ranges from 1/10 of an inch to low to knotheads in areas of wear. Scattered vertical tension lines throughout. Abrasions to metal thread. Lower left and right corner with slight color runs, mostly visible on reverse. Ends with original flatwoven ends and silk warp fringes. Sides with abrasions and losses to metal selvaging. Several abrash bands across carpet. Supple handle, very pleasing soothing color palette, good overall condition.
