  • 12cm; 4 ¾in
modelled by Anton Carl Luplau, standing with arms raised, wearing a purple hat, black jacket over a white waistcoat, and yellow breeches, the base moulded with scrolls edged in puce (minor chips to hat and one finger)

Provenance

Probably Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st Bt. (1834 - 1894), thence by descent to Ethel Mary Tempest (1869 - 1937) who married Miles Stapleton, 10th Lord Beaumont (1850 - 1895) thence by descent.

Condition

small shallow chip to rim of hat. Chip to forefinger of right hand. Shallow chip to underside of base.
