- each 82cm high, 114cm wide, 42cm deep; 2ft. 8¼in., 3ft. 8¾in., 1ft. 4½in.
the tops partially marble and partially painted to ressemble grey veined marble, with a drawer above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing a shelf

Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st Bt. (1834 - 1894), thence by descent to Ethel Mary Tempest (1869 - 1937) who married Miles Stapleton, 10th Lord Beaumont (1850 - 1895) thence by descent.

Condition
cabinet 1:
The later wooden top is warped . Minor veneer losses around the drawer and cupboard doors. The mounts are dirty and could benefit from cleaning and the gilding is worn throughout. Some water marks to left hand side. Internal shelf is replaced.
Cabinet 2:
The marble top is cracked and broken into three sections with some consequent loss to marble. The painted wooden top is warped. Some minor veneer losses around drawer and cupboard doors. Both cupboard doors slightly warped and with minor age cracks. The right hand door has a chip, lower edge. The mounts throught are dirty and could benefit from cleaning. Some wear to gilding.
