Condition
Good condition. A 6 mm surface scratche to the glaze outside near the rim, another to the exterior 3 mm below left, a pale iron spot inside.

Catalogue Note
A very similair pair of Yongzheng bowls was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 17th November, 1975, lot 215.
Altough this design is inspired by a Chenghua original, no exact counterpart appears to have been published. Compare a bowl decorated with lança characters supported on lingzhi fungus, included in the exhibition The Emperor's broken china. reconstructing Chenghuanporcelain, Sotheby's, London, 1995, cat.no.86.
